COMMENTS AND REMARKS
(The Fishing) Many fish about, saw rainbows to 15” Location of fish structurally determined, many in what appears to be flat gravel areas, but always with some feature like a boulder or a slightly deeper channel. Fish also seen in deeper pools. Saw two yellowfish of about 24 and over 30” in a wood pile. Unable to tempt them to the fly. The most remarkable thing about the outing was the size of rainbows and yellows seen. The one yellow in particular is the largest of its sort that I have ever seen above the village.
