How to Arrange
Your Fishing

All fishing on WTA water is arranged through a day permit — first-come, first-served, valid for one day.

The Permit System

All fishing on WTA water is arranged through a day permit. The permit grants access to specific beats on a specific day for the specified number of fishermen/rods. The permit must be displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle at all times while fishing.

Permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and are valid for one day only.

Pre-Booking Beats

Beats may be booked in advance at the RIC. Note that advance bookings are made at the angler’s risk if adverse weather makes the water unfishable. Alternative arrangements can be made subject to availability.

Step-by-Step

01

Decide which beats or river sections you want to fish, or discuss the options when buying the permit.

02

Visit or contact the RIC to check availability and register your beats on the central register.
